sorority rush???

So I really want to be in a sorority in college (hopefully a top one) but I don't exactly look like one, I wear a lot of black and don't exactly dress or look preppy... will that hurt me during rush or should I go out and buy more typical sorority attire. How much does it have an affect on your bids? help!

Just be yourself. Do NOT alter yourself just to fit in because you will be miserable
