frat halloween house parties

I've been here for two years and I've noticed there's been a shift between frats having regular Halloween house parties to them hosting it at bars like lib and pub. I know there's always been these events, but it seems a lot more common this year. Any reason for the shift? I prefer their house parties a lot more
