how often do sororities pay to remove comments?

isn't this kind of weird? like why spend the money to get rid of comments that you don't like? does it really matter that much? ive been finding that comments i saw before disappeared out of nowhere

Usually the top tiers do it the most when it comes to paying to remove comments but I think everyone does it once in awhile
