number of bids?

So.... If there are almost 1000 girls rushing ... How many girls does each house get to bid? Are there more girls than bids?

The # of bids is the number of girls left at the end of prefs divided by 12.
So if there's 600 girls left at prefs, each sorority can give 50 bids.
A small sorority may be able to give a few more than 50 to help them grow.

So if you have Zeta, KD, and Tridelt left at Prefs, and they all put you as 55th on their list but they can only take 55, you may not get a bid at all even though DZ may only take 45 so there's technically bids left.

highly doubtful you will have ZTA, KD and DDD at prefs. For you, probably DZ and Chi O

I'm a lurking PNM who is going through recruitment next week at FSU. How is there only 1000 girls? There is over 2000 at FSU and UCF is so much larger. Are you sure this is correct? I'm learning lots about this process here!!
