Being in a sorority is the best part of college. My experience here is amazing because of my house and I can't imagine not being in one! Rush is competitive here for sure, but the emotional roller coaster ride is worth it in the end. I knew what house I wanted to be in when I was a junior in H.S. I love my house and I love UA, where the Greek system is a huge deal, so if these are the best years of my life then bring it! It's all good so far and I am so happy I am here and got the house I wanted. It's amazing. College would not be college for me without my sorority, I seriously can't imagine college life without it.
#22 by: to why
I am in my right mind and I'm in a sorority. Its hardly a waste of time it's what makes my college life what it is, the greatest time I have ever had! I love my house, live there, all my best friends around me and I have no doubt that I found the perfect house for me and that these girls will be my friends for life.Thats why I'm in a sorority. Along with 200 other girls x11. Hope that answers your question. I take it you will not be rushing.

Weird here hasn?t been many places. Friends at USC, UCLA, Chapman, UCDavis, and Stanford say DG, PiPhi, Kappa, APhi, and Theta are consistently strong in Cali. Gamma Phi is elite at Illinois, Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Washington, Oregon, and private schools in Pennsylvania. Moving to the deep South? You?re screwed if you?re not KD, TriDelt, PhiMu, ADPi, or ChiO. Things really are different all over.
