Can ppl with felonies rush?

Ik a girl from my hometown who's rushing and she did something pretty bad to someone else and went to court and pretty sure it's on her record. According to her socials she's rushing a sorority now? Is that allowed. Thought sororities here did not just let anyone in. Yes I am praying on her downfall.
