Incoming Freshman
by: NewbieI'll be coming to the U OF A in the fall and I would love to join a sorority. Is it anything like the SEC schools? I can't wait to rush. When does Rush begin? I'm a very outgoing person so I feel like I would be fine rushing but is it cut throat?

Greek life is really big on campus but probably not quite as big as SEC schools. Rush dates will be announced on Panhellenic’s Instagram but usually it’s the weekend of the first week of school and the following weekend as well. I wouldn’t say it’s cut throat as long as you go into it open minded because usually you will find the right house for you!
