How hard to receive a bid explained-Frats/Sororities

by:

At the end of the day the top houses are the hardest to rush and extremely hard to get a bid from. Mid houses are still hard to receive bids.
FRATS:
The two hardest frats to receive a bid from:
Sig Chi
Sig Ep

Both Sig Chi and Sig Ep are the hardest to receive bids from due to the amount of people that rush these houses but each house ends up giving around 30 bids which makes it extremely competitive.

The next 2 frats are still very competitive:
FIJI
ZBT

These are still hard to receive a bid from. They offer slightly more bids overall but still are two great houses that are considered top.

Some of the upper mid houses round out “competitive” bids:
Pi Kapp
TDX
Sammy

These are still very good houses but are slightly easier to receive a bid from. Any house after this usually should be easy to receive a bid from.

SORORITIES:

There are 5 sororities that are extremely hard to receive a bid from at Arizona. Unfortunately as it is at most big party schools, the top sororities recruit upon looks. These top 5 sororities have the best looking girls and are known for that. Unlike frats, sorority recruitment offers more bids to around 75-120 girls to each house but is because more girls generally rush.

And - it should go without saying that reputations matter at U of A.

Top houses -Sig chi/Sig Ep best looking, best grades , best athletes-best guys

Bottom Houses: TKE - you just get creepy guys-who have no ambition but to get drunk.

This is absolutely true.

Top houses equal top guys. All of us girls would love to date one. There is a reason they are selective.

Bottom houses…not so much. There is a reason that TKE has a creepy rep. The guys are redneck weirdos

Chi O is competitive but has an incredible sisterhood, involvement, house, personality, grades, etc. Just show up your best and chat it up. Same w Theta

Chi O is one of the LEAST competitive sororities. They take all the girls that got dropped from the higher houses.

Ok I just don't think ifs true say only these houses are competitive and not the others. I know plenty off ppl who didn't get any houses because of grades or other issues. I also know pll who were droppsd from “lower” houses and got into “higher tier” houses. Ultimately it's not only about looks. It's about what that sorority is looking for. For some that will be looks and personally that is not a sisterhood I want to be apart of. I want to be apart of a group of women who choose me for my accomplishments and personality. Other houses such as theta, adpi, and chi o are like this! Not to say others aren't but these mid tier chapters actually care about who who you are. Personally, that's way more valuable than joining the hotest sorority

Frats are different.
Top frats get the best guys and yes -it’s super competitive . Great brotherhood

Bottom frats are just that. TKE ..equals Guys who didn’t get a bid elsewhere-grades suck- weird around girls ..tend to have bad brotherhood.
