Transfer student rushing a srat

I’ve seen some posts on here saying that its really hard to get a bid from a sorority if you’re a sophomore or transfer :( I will be transferring to u of a in the fall and will be a sophomore but am wondering if I should just not rush even though I want to be apart of a sisterhood; I just don’t want to rush if I don’t have a fair chance.

a lot of sororities will take you even if you’re a sophomore!! a lot of girls rushed this past year as sophomores and still got into good chapters!

if you dont have friends in the chapters you want or you dont have 10k followers on insta and you arent an influencer, chances are you're not getting any mid or top chapters. Over 1.5k girls rush so freshman get priority.
