frat dues compared to living dues?

Is it cheaper to live in the frat/sorority house than to pay semester dues and live in an off campus apartment? I see online it says 4k/5k to live in the house so does that mean i just pay that and not the 1,25k semesters dues. or do i pay both?????

Housing is additional to dues. Some houses offer some discounts for live-ins- or rather part of those fees are often specifically for live-outs to help pay for the time they do use the house- and that would not be paid by a live-in. But any amounts would be a question for a specific chapter.
