spoken like a true lowlife who knows nothing about social status wake up sweetie, we live in a society structured by class.. some of these houses are like a blue collar-working class house some are just like the one percent and some are middle class, some are upper middle class but they are not created equal, nothing is. read a book. sororities are private clubs and you must receive an invitation to become a member. not all clubs are special or hard to get into and others are exclusive and elite. that's real life.

So you say Fiji is better than Pike which is obvious. That means they have more status. Is SAE equal to Fiji? Yes.. probably equal. Some things, but very few are equal. But you then contradicted yourself by saying all sororities listed above are equal in status which is not true and also impossible. GR would not exist if all houses were the same, but they are clearly not. Kate Spade is not the same as Chanel. Hyatt is not the same as The Four Seasons. Atlanta is not San Francisco. VW is not BMW. Not even close. Everything tangible has something above it and below it, that is the definition of quality or status. Sometimes things are almost exactly the same in status-quality, like Ritz Carlton and F.Seasons, or London and Paris. But how rare is that? Very rare.

personally i hate both kate spade and chanel and even tho my friend has a cute convertible vw bug i would not want any vw. if houses are like cars and handbags then my house is mercedes and bmw and prada. of course not all houses are the same, have they ever been in the history of sororities... no way. thats why houses tend to attract the same type of girl year after year and keep their same rep good or bad year after year. ymmv but thats my opinion and i am a junior and not even close to being dumb. as a marketing major i think the brand comparisons are funny. there are worse than kate spade you know way worse like coach. kappa is a brand. but not a status brand like they are almost everywhere they suck here. ew. the poster above me is a mean-mom who needs a big glass of wine and a real life stat.

Sororities, especially here, are not like exclusive clubs by any stretch, not one of them here. The fact that some posters above think they are and actually think they're status symbols just indicates that they and their families have no affiliation with a truly exclusive club. And btw, Thu cant buy your way in.
