Fraternities, including SigEp, have developed a reputation of being organizations that exist to promote alcohol consumption. Our money and time are spent on parties. We are known in the media and in our campus communities as havens for drinking. That has changed for SigEp. Removing alcohol from the chapter experience sends a clear message about what we value and what we do not value.

SigEp is truly the best Fraternity on campus. SigEp leads all fraternities in total membership, community involvement, and GPA. Athletics are traditionally exceptional, with the titles to boot. The reputation of a SigEp is someone who succeeds academically, leads by example, and loves to have fun. Through SigEp, men strengthen their character, build leadership and interpersonal skills, and learn to develop healthy, lifelong relationships that are essential to a successful and fulfilling life. The mission statement of “Building Balanced Men” is achieved through the Balanced Man Program, an experience focused on scholarship, leadership, professional development, and life skills. Our Chapter also has a substance-free house, making for a cleaner, safer, and more academic environment. Everyone has their best fit, so it's up to you to try out SigEp and find out for yourself!
