Sorority regret

I joined a sorority to meet new people but I guess it’s all about looks here. I’m literally so insecure about even talking to girls in my pc because they see that I’m not blonde and skinny and they automatically make a face like wtf. I hate it here sorry I’m not white

Girl transfer schools lmao, you’ll actually find a sisterhood and have a much better experience but here it’s just about getting girls that will take pictures of you in your bikini

I feel that. I was gonna rush but got so intimidated and now I’m sad :( I also feel like the social scene here is dominated by Greek life and as someone who also isn’t white, I just feel like I’m never gonna have friends and want to transfer

Hey!! I'm so sorry about your experience. I just wanna say I was scared of rushing too (yes I'm white but the girls still intimidated the hell out of me), but then I realized not all sororities on campus are the same. There are a couple that are more diverse and about personality than looks! I'd say try to join one of those if you find one you like, rather than the "top" ones :)

You will do okay stand up for yourself be yourself and stand tall you being unique is amzing! Find people that align with your goals!

There are certain sororities on campus that are more genuine and are more about diversity/personality than looks! I'd say drop your current sorority and rush again in the spring :) Better luck next time!
