it's coming around again...

Agreed its VERY different here. If Kappa wants to be the top house better get into USC. Too late for that, oh well. DG could rise or fall big we shall see. What I think is so very bizarre is how much the sororities have moved around here. At schools in California like UCSB and Berkeley among many others, the top houses have not changed in like over fifty years. No changes at all. So how exactly did Kappa and DG fall from long time top house status to middle? How did Theta fall from top to bottom? If somebody actually knows I would love to hear about it, cause it's weird and interesting. Alpha Phi is not a top house at any school I know of and none of my friends or anyone I know is an Alpha Phi anywhere, so what happened here?

Gamma Phi Beta is horrible at every school I know except Arizona, especially in Cali so that's also weird. No one from my high school ever pledged Gamma phi at any college.

Its so random here. If things were normal the top houses would be a mix of dg, theta, pi phi, kappa like everywhere else.

the only houses i personally would consider TOP are kappa and pi phi because they have really solid reputations and have been super consistent. i consider gamma phi and alpha phi lower top and i know that's a pretty common opinion. next is dg. then sigma, then chi o, then the rest. i don't even consider theta lower middle... look at their girls. more chubsters than tri delt. i think kappa cemented their place as top this year and gamma phi and alpha phi are on the decline. in the next four-six years top tier will be pi phi kappa and dg, that's my prediction. they are too strong nationally to not be top houses at such a big school.

at cal it's kappa and pi phi.. have been the top houses there forever. dg and pi phi at ucsb. kappa and dg at usc. theta is usually second or third at most schools. it's always a combination of kappa pi phi theta dg. ALWAYS. even in the south at tcu and smu. here in the desert the best girls from out of state from the best backgrounds do not pledge aphi and we know what kind of cali girls go gamma phi. kappa has the prestige that no other house has or ever will. kappa is ground zero. pi phi and dg and kappa then theta have such tremendous reps and history nationally that they will always be the best houses. even theta, in the toilet now, will eventually make a comeback. pi phi will always be top here like at cal and Santa Barbara, that will never change. aphi tries too hard and they antagonize greeks at every single university. never a top house no matter what they say or do. there is a serious lack, overall, of quality girls in the greek system at Arizona but the best are in pi phi and kappa and a small group of girls in dg. Arizona needs girls from a higher class background, who were raised right or this place will soon be a sick joke like san diego state or asu. wait and see, only a matter of time, pi phi, kappa, dg top three.

How is DG on the rise? Have you SEEN their pc? Kappa is it's own house in my opinion just like Chi O. Aphi... yeah their rude and stuck up but have some really pretty girls and frats love them. Aphi isn't going anywhere... same with the g phis..... Pi Phi also, will always be a top house.

PiPhi/Theta/Kappa in no particular order. DG/Tri Delta/Chi O are very strong nationally, but below the Big Three. APhi & GPhi not considered top anywhere except here. Weird.

APhi is SO skeevy so it may be a top house but not to anyone from my hometown. Gamma Phi is known now for having very freaky dirty girls, but some Cali girls are in that house that surprised me. DG is strong and the great girls they have only went DG because of the name, the house here is very weak. Pi Phi is top almost everywhere except at USC, where they have a very mixed reputation, but they somehow still get many "good" girls. I do wish it was Kappa-DG-PiPhi-Theta because it would make it easier-less stressful when you go through rush. DG is stronger in the south than Tri Delt! Nobody I know would ever pledge Chi O... Even at Boulder... or Tri Delt, anywhere. I know more than a few girls in Kappa, DG- and older girls in Theta- who pledged there over Aphi or Gphi because the name is SO much better. If Pi Phi drops you and you are a certain kind of girl your choices are sadly limited. Better to say you are a Kappa than an Aphi. Believe me. It's all pear shaped here which kinda sucks.

Gphi is top house at NAU and USD they are also strong at SDSU.

I'm trying to figure out why all of this matters? We go to UA. Why would you even care.
