approx 1400 girls went thru rush. pi phi took 96 girls and aphi took 94. so that's about a 13.5% chance of getting into the two best houses.


what i want to know is out of the 1,210 girls who DID NOT get a bid from pi phi or aphi, how many dropped out of rush? How many girls got their first choice or their second choice?\n\n\n\n\ndg, an upper middle house, took 96 girls. all these houses take different girls in regards to personalities and background but they all get many of the hottest girls. Best to look at other houses like gphi and kappa,(both really good, and much better than dg, but dg rushed well this year) cause 13% means the odds are definitely not in your favor. there you go.

the 2 houses you asked about are very hard to get a bid from. all things highly desirable in life are also highly competitive. the end.

190 girls were chosen out of 1400? Well, then I would say Alpha Phi and Pi Phi are almost impossible to get into. Why are you asking this now? I think you are either too late or way to early to be curious about such a thing, "Curious"

why would anyone want to rush alpha phi... i really don't understand. it's the epitome of fake and catty. all the girls who join this house are simply doing it for the need to feel like they are in a top house... once you're in it sucks... no real sisterhood. sad.

You won't get into either of those houses in the spring, and they won't even do a rush then. And even in the fall you better be a rock star or have friends in those houses. Wait until August and look at Pi Phi, Gamma Phi and Kappa. If you already have a bad rep wherever you go to school now, then you are a DG, Alpha Phi or ewwwww Sikma Kappa type of girl. Either way, hope you are pretty, skinny and look classy. You're welcome.

Gamma Phi and Pi Phi are the best two top houses. Every house has some cattiness, I mean that's a huge group of girls for you. But at least the girls in these two houses are able to act themselves and actually have a real sisterhood. Alpha Phi is so fake. Girls who are stuck in high school and have this imaginary idea of superiority stuck in their heads are the majority in this house. They are rude and cliquey. If you want to try and fit in and are okay with surfaced and superficial friendships, then go ahead. However, if you are looking for a house where you are going to make deep and lifelong friendships and be a part of a genuine sisterhood, while still being in a top house, then Pi Phi and G Phi. If you don't care about being in a "top house" ten next best is Kappa or Chi O.

Poor lower tiers just so badly want to be in the top... poor poor kappa and dg.....
