They could list APhi as a top for every day, but if Aphi doesn't want her, then she's going to get a different house. If they think Tri Delt is a crappy house and rank them bottom every day, but Tri Delt loves her well then guess what, she'll probably end up in Tri Delt. Yay for recruitment

You're an idiot. Tridelt is dropped first by every halfway decent girl. Sooooo, how can a girl who drops them after the first round end up in their house? DUH. SHE CAN'T. Also, I PICKED MY HOUSE. TWO houses were all over me and asked me point blank which way I was leaning and I was vague with one, and told the other one the truth- that I wanted them-- AND I GOT A BID. If you are a highly desirable rushee you will get to pick your house, but only if you are the best of the best. The top houses are most wanted by the best girls, but the best girls all have their own opinions on what qualities make a top house a top house and what qualities don't- like reputation, etc.

yep same for me. I consider myself lucky. lots of great girls did not get the house they wanted and totally freaked out. it was sad.

Not always true. I did have friends from high school in Cali, and I got in the top house they were in and I'm happy. I had pledge sisters who knew nobody and got in, and I knew girls with enemies from HS who kicked them curbside after the second round in more than one good house, which blows! Kappa dirty rushes but they still basically suck, so.... you can go where your friends are, but be aware that you may not like the house....just because they picked it, you may not really like the overall house. It happens! Follow your heart, then your friends.

if you take every comment on greekrank seriously then you'll end up... uh, dropping out of recruitment and remain a gdi forever.
if you go in with an open mind and are halfway decent, chances are, you'll click with girls moreso in one house than any other and that will be your top choice and M O S T girls get their top choice. your top choice isnt necessarily gonna be a "top tier" house, but it'll be one where you fit in. trust in the system of rush, it puts people exactly where you should be

soooo not cool to lie... tons of girls do NOT get their first choice... their second choice is much more common and they should be happy about that cuz even more girls end up in bad houses they did not really even want, and then drop out cuz they hate it! all this bs about how you end up where you should be is just total bs! you end up where you are lucky to end up, or unlucky to end up. thats rush and thats the truth. trust in the greek rush system? LOLOLOLLOL. I WAS DIRTY RUSHED LAST YEAR, SO OMG JUST SHUT UP! RUSH DOES NOT PUT YOU WHERE YOU BELONG, ITS YOU AS A PERSON, LUCK, AND DIRTY RUSHING. PERIOD.
