rush

Hi I have 2.88 going into rush but I took a lot of honors courses. I am so nervous I am going to get dropped by all of the sororities. Is it likely that I'll get dropped by all of the sororities?

Don’t have high hopes but there’s a chance! Go into it with an open mind because even a lot of 3.0 girls get dropped.

If you did take honors classes, it should be easy to get a 4.0 if not close this semester and then rush in the spring. Not to mention, that gpa will make you stand out at rush in the spring. Still give rush a go in the fall though cuz you never know (:

Sororities don’t have spring rush, you’d have to wait until next fall.

many sororities do take a spring pledge class. Look at the spring 2019 grade report. You might be surprised at what houses took spring pledges.

I know for a fact all houses take grade-risks. If you have a good enough personality & you’re really cute you will get bids back from most sororities. I rushed with a 2.9 and didn’t get dropped from a single house except kappa.
