fraternity cost

Hello, what’s the average cost to join a fraternity without housing and is there some sort of financial plan available? I’m sure each fraternity has different costs but what the average $. Asking because my parents don’t really like the idea of me joining one so idk if they’ll support it financially, I still have savings tho so hopefully I can afford it if I don’t get to convince my parents haha lmk guys.

I was in the same boat. W/out meal plan or housing it’s around $1500 per semester for actives and a little more first semester pledging. Some houses are more though and some are less.
