sorority time commitment question

Hi all,
I'll be rushing this fall but I wanted to ask beforehand if all the sororities require the same amount of committment or if some are stricter than others. I would love to join a sorority but if my whole life is supposed to revolve around it, then I dont think it's for me! Thanks in advance.

Honestly you only get the most out of the time you put in or commit to anything so if you decide to join a sorority but don't participate in anything such as philanthropy or sisterhood events it will be much harder to fit in or make friends

I definitely would participate in the events, but I want to be able to join other clubs and activities as well.

whatever you put into it, you get out. its not that demanding. you have certain events that you have to do such as philos and recruitment practice, but they only happen so often throughout a semester! you make amazing friends (i have some that will be in my life forever because of my sorority) and i also have amazing friends that i met outside of it!!!
