joining a frat
by: newbieHey guys I'm new to the greek scenario and I'm thinking about rushing next semester. How does it work? I saw that if you want to rush you need to register on IFC recruitment and pay the fee. (Is that necessary?) After deciding which frats you want to rush you get a bid and then what? What are the steps to becoming a member and how long does it take? (Please explain as you would to someone that knows nothing about greek life)

go to the ifc for university of arizona, see if they're accepting new sign ups. be ready to spend $55 for the registration fee. Since it's Spring rush, make sure you strategize which house you want to go to and spend your time wisely. the first 2 days of the week are crucial so make you make connections by then so you can be called back for the private events at the end of the week.
