sorority rush gpa

so my high school gpa is 2.97 unweighted and 3.2 weighted. i know the minimum gpa is 3.0, are top sorority’s really strict about their gpa or do i have a chance?

panhellenic goes by unweighted gpa and a 3.2 weighted isn't very good anyway. take some online or community college classes this summer (and ace them) to show that you're not an academic risk. unless your other factors are stellar, you will probably get cut by the top sororities and even some of the nerdier houses who care about grades like chi o or theta. that doesn't leave you with a lot of options.

If I have a 3.3 unweighted and a 3.0 weighted would I be okay? Does hs rigor matter or is that too time consuming to take into account. Not OP just so there's no confusion.
