why would you not give bids to 2-3 guys each time during rush that are older? older pledgees are less risky since they're more mature about consequences and wont get the house in trouble. the way greek life is going in this school, you want the least problematic members in your house. jeez you're acting like if they're giving bids to 40 year olds

It's risky bc older guys who need to rush are probably losers. Olds don't get bids from top houses bc their interests and social life will be a lot different from 18-20 year olds. They would rather go to bars and clubs and meet women their age, not hang with or get hazed by freshmen and sophs.

It's true but this is a frat looking to try something new, because think about it: When freshman girls get over their remaining HS fantasy of hooking up with the "star" or frat star, they realize there's older dude's in college who are being paid six-figure salaries, and paid to go back to school, so why aren't they using their hot girl privilege instead of hanging with that loser with a 2.0 GPA who can shotgun 3 beers in 6 minutes? SAE knows majority of girls past 19, want older successful men so I definitely see more frats taking older guys. They pull more than 19 year old tool boys.
If you think some sorority girl is choosing some idiot "frat star" who is on academic probation, over the 27 year old dude driving a BWM making a good salary while in school, then you seriously need to be checked out. Hot girl privilege= MEAL TICKET.

I don't know this 26 year old, but maybe he has been serving his country for the past several years. Or maybe he's been working all this time to earn his own tuition. Maybe there was a family or health issue. Doesn't matter, he got a bid from a great house who recognized a solid guy. Whatever the reason, I completely doubt that SAE is considering what the girls think when they decide who they want to bid.

People are so quick to judge others without knowing their whole backstory. I'll take a couple older guys over a bunch of inexperienced 18-19 year olds that could get a house in trouble because they dont know how to handle anything
