My mom was one at a different school and loved it but doesn't really know much about it at this school...

Don't allow your legacy connection to influence your decision and make you feel like you need to join a house that you really don't feel comfortable in. DDD is at the bottom here. You might fit in there, but there are a lot of disadvantages to being in that situation.

If you are ok with having the tri-delt name tag on you for ther rest of your college career go for it! But it is the worst sorority on campus. Believe me. Ask anyone that knows anything about greeklife and they'll tell you the same.

They are literally one of the top house at every other school except for here.

Go where you feel comfortable, end of story. If that means you get to share sisterhood with your mom, that's great, and if it means you end up elsewhere, that's great too. I agree with the first responder...every house is great. Give them all a chance.

Thanks guys! I have heard a variety of things and Ill just go in with an open mind. My mom talked to a few friends and she doesn't want me to feel pressured into rushing her sorority and said I should do whatever I feel is right for me. Can't wait for rush!!

I think an open mind is always best. Maybe check out their facebook and web pages as well. That's always a good way to see what each chapter does and if you think they could be a fit.
