frat reputations
by: PNM Fall 2018I'm planning on rushing in the fall and I wanted to hear some opinions on what each frat is like. This can include positive and negative aspects of each of them.

imma level w you. Everyone always says that reputation doesn't matter when picking a house but it really does play some sort of a role. pick a house that has a good rep and that you vibe w the most. If i were you (depending on how sanctions go this summer) zbt, beta, theta chi, ksig, pike, sig chi, sae, sammy,are all good options that are well respected on campus. Anything else is meh

U of A typically only has about 8-10 solid frats at a time.
It should be fairly evident during rush which ones are good, and which ones aren't. I wouldn't necessarily base your opinion on what someone on GR says about a house, because it can change over the course of a year or two. Some houses may have a little more of a west coast vibe, or something like that, but it doesn't matter too much in the grand scheme of things.

Like a lot of members from California.... You're not really going to find any frats wearing chubbies and southern tide now that Theta Chi grew out of that phase. Most frats will be more Cali/AZ based than southern.
