I’m coming from Australia to U of A as an international student and want to rush a sorority in the fall. How hard will it be for me to get a bid from a top tier sorority since I’m Australian and know nobody at UA, I also don’t have any rec letters. Thanks

Why would you want to join a sorority when there's no cultural context in Aus? What would draw you to the Greek system when it is perceived so negatively from the outside? Just curious.

I really want to make friends in Tucson (given I know no one) and it looks really fun! I’ve always had an interest for it and generally when ppl in Australia wouldn’t understand it (calling it cults etc.) I would explain it and stick up for Greek life really.

Well, I'm not sure what you mean by typical Aussie. I'm a Murrawarri (Aboriginal Australian) but don't worry, I'm not weird or anything besides my accent and heritage.
