It does add up. My sister has around 25k and gets 2k likes. And I'm pretty sure her followers are all real (she's in High School).

It depends what you mean by fake. I have a public account (nowhere near 15k followers tho) and I will get random robot-account followers daily, so if you mean that then yes that could be true for anyone. But if you mean downloading one of those follower apps, I don't think that's true. I think girls here just know how to market themselves for social media with hot outfits, good backdrops, and friends who are willing to take ridiculous "candid" photos of them.
