rushing sororities at 22?

by:

I’m a 22 year old transfer student and will be a junior. I’ll still have 2-3 years left since I’m double majoring. Just wondering how receptive sororities are to older girls who rush?
TIA

Actually I’m really just wondering. I already ruled ASA out this fall because it seemed like a desperation sorority. I questioned myself on whether or not asking this question on here was the right decision.... clearly I made the wrong one.

When you say you ruled out another sorority (ASA) this Fall, are you implying that you've already transferred and gone through Fall Recruitment?

Anyway if you're worried about the age or class standing thing just tell people that you're a transfer with 2 or 3 years left until graduation. There's no need to go into details that might hurt your chances. Plus girls will probably be more interested in hearing about why you didn't rush at your old school so you can probably talk about that also instead of your age.

but she already gave away her details... 22 y/o, junior, double major... now everyone will be grilling transfer girls during recruitment to see if it's this crybaby.

dont worry about OP. plenty of over 21 transfer students are rushing this spring. just focus the attention on what you can bring to the house
