greek life commitment

i am probably going to be a freshman at UA next year in the honors college, but i want to do a decent amount of partying. as a guy, ive heard its hard to get into the best parties unless you are in a frat. i would consider rushing, but i was wondering which frats are less time consuming because i dont want the fraternity to be my #1 priority and take up all of my free time. any suggestions?

Pledging is like taking an extra course, all the work you do, but it's well worth it. My grades have increased a lot because you always have brothers in your classes to help study or whatever. It would be better for you to rush and pledge and drop, than to not rush at all and wonder if you would have liked greek life.

Go with Sig Ep. They have the highest fraternity GPA by far, but they dont rage!

if you want to join a decent frat like sae, pi kap, fiji, dchi or sig chi it will be a very hard and time consuming pledge semester but it is well worth it if u want to party.

if you dont want to party as much join a lower tier frat like dtd, theta chi, beta..etc

Joining a house means you have 100 people to help you with school. Don't join a house because they party less. Being in a better house just means more opportunities to party, not that you have to go to all of them.
