sorority recruitment as a sophomore

I really want to join a sorority in the fall but I will be a sophomore. Can sophomores have a good rush at this school? I'm open to almost all of the houses but I'm especially interested in kappa, do they give bids to sophomores?

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, sophomores are very encouraged to rush at UA! Certain houses take fewer sophomores than others, but if you click with a house than I'm sure you will get a bid. The only thing that is different is GPA. Its really encouraged to have at least a 2.75 college GPA if not higher. I know G phi, and SK had a lot of sophomores this rush! Im sure Kappa takes sophomores as well, but keep your mind open because other houses will surprise you.

You need to be open to more than "almost all" of the houses as a sophomore. Sophomores do get bids but usually they know a lot of girls in the house already and have really good GPAs.

There is definitely houses that prefer freshman but take sophomores and juniors! Kappa took many sophomores in their latest PC. Go for it, you might fall in love with Kappa or even one of the 11 other houses!
