So I just got dropped from literally every house I was ok with. Not a fan of the houses I got although I would do axo if recommended. Should I drop the process altogether? What are the best clubs to get involved in if I don't rush?

honestly it sounds like bot houses are all that would accept you and you should be grateful they even want you. All 3 of them have social, beautiful girls in them and no matter your personality you'd find someone to be friends with. Thinking you're too good for them however is what will kill you in hte end. Better to be in a bot house than be a GDI.

Wait what? Are you trying to say "both"? But then you also say "all 3." So which one is it?

Also, OP never even specified which houses or how many. So..

I mean I agree with the sentiment.

There are 3 "bottom" houses. All 3 offering a better experience than being a gdi

Stick with it, do you really need a recommendation here though? Do what's right for you...this is not an ideal forum.

Wait next month when Alpha Sigma Alpha (ASA) begins their colonization in search of new founders. You may have a better chance of getting into a brand new sorority along with other girls that could build this organization into something fun and exciting, while leaving a legacy at UA. Just a thought.

Please ASA alum, at least be truth with the pnms, okay?

To the pnms, if you're rushing right now, I'm guessing you want to join a big, fun sorority with lots of girls and established traditions. You want a big. You want date dashes. You want to have lunch at the house in between your classes.

You won't get that with ASA. They are a teachers sorority meaning they were founded for teaching majors. They will NOT have a house (please do not listen to people telling you they "might" or "not yet") They have already established to panhellenic that they would like to be an unhoused chapter. Even if 100 members join, they wont be able to change that. Colony members actually have very little say in how their sorority will turn out. It's all based on what the advisors want. And based on the presentation they gave to Panhel, it is not the typical Greek experience that most of you want.

I'm not saying don't join ASA. There will be plenty of girls who WANT what I just described and I'm sure they'll be able to recruit a nice little colony. But colonization advisors are known for being dishonest to pnms. If you want a traditional Greek experience, don't join ASA. Give your remaining houses a chance.

Did you have bad grades and that's why you were dropped? Or were your grades good you just were dropped for other reasons. Because that can make a huge difference, if girls are dropped because of grades they probably would fit well in a certain house that dropped them they just had to be dropped because of low grades. If you were dropped with good grades then what happened was meant to be and you should try out the houses you ended up with.

I was dropped most likely because of grades. I connected well with the houses so I can't see any other reason why. I'm also a sophomore

It's meant to be either way.

If the houses loved her enough, she wouldn't have been dropped. But she was, and there's no point in dwelling on it. She can very well be happy in the houses she has left if she gives them a chance.

You were dropped for being a grade risk sophomore. I feel no pity for you, bad grades are your own fault and nobody else's. If you have bad grades you should honestly be more concerned about that than joining a sorority.
