You can't make changes once you submit it, duh. You're going to struggle in college if you believe you can change things after they are turned in.

If my summer grades aren't posted till tomorrow and my gpa gets updated tomorrow, do I then send my updated transcripts to Panhellenic? Also do they then send the updated information to the sororities?

You have until August 10th to send in transcripts. that is why I believe the above people are wrong about making changes- as long as you contact Panhell Directly I am sure you'll be fine.

do they really even look at apps? there is a 800+ girls rushing..... and I highly believe the last day to CALL AND MAKE CHANGES is August 10th when transcripts must be turned in.


People on here talk out of their ass half the time. CALL and see what they say.

Are you joking? Of course we look at your applications. We go through every single girl. Every house does a slideshow of some sort which consists of everything you submitted. It takes forever and usually we split the slideshow up into several days, but yes, we absolutely look at your apps. What else do you think they would be for??

My house has started going through slideshows. I'm sure others have too. If you have to send in transcripts, do it, and we'll update your gpa. We don't make cuts until after the first round of rush. It's not like we're going to make up our minds about you based on your application alone. We'll just flag you for having a low gpa. If we get an updated GPA that's less horrible, we'll unflag you.

Here's an example. If a PNM pops up on our slideshow with a 2.6 gpa, we won't automatically move past her. We'll discuss her application but probably flag her for having a low gpa and put her on our "first cuts" list. But if Panhel sends us an updated GPA before rush starts, we'll take her off of that list.

I made a error on the amount of units I had and Panhellic fixed it today. My GPA is fine though am I still ok

Your recruitment application didn't ask for how many units you have (unless it has changed since I rushed.) It only asks what year you are. So if the amount of credits you have affected that, then Panhell will update it and let the sororities know. Even if we've already gone through your application, we'll still update it.

So basically sororities don't see the number of units I have? My class standing did not change I just got more added to my transcript. So I should be fine ? I didn't want to be accused of lying.

Nope, unless something has changed since last year, we won't see the amount of units you have. Just your class standing.

If your GPA is so low that a couple of classes are the difference between you making the bare minimum GPA for recruitment, then you're probably going to get dropped early by all the desirable sororities. Just so you're prepared.

No one here said their gpas were that low. But why not bump your gpa up to a 3.6 from a 3.2 with a few extra classes?

Also, it could mean a pnm with an under 3.0 gpa gets bumped up to a 3.0. And that's hugely important. Why automatically assume these girls all have gpa's that are "so low"?
