pnms with money
by: qhow do sororities tell if a pnm has a lot of money? everyone keeps saying that money helps get girls into sororities but how would they know?
#1by: No.
This is not true. Coming for a girl in a UofA sorority who has been on both sides on recruitment, no one can tell if a PNM has money or not. No one cares either. sometimes PNMS just write bs on this website and don't know what they're talking about. One of the rules of sorority recruitment is not to talk about money. Every house at the school has poorer and richer girls.

Arizona isn't a huge southern school where having "old money" or money in general is a big deal.
Money only matters to us if you don't have enough to pay for dues. We're not going to choose one PNM over another JUST because she comes from a wealthy area. But we WILL choose a PNM over another if we know for a fact one is lower class or she is paying tuition by herself. It's honestly nothing personal, we just want to give bids to girls who will be in it for all 4 years. You'd be surprised by how many girls go through rush who can't even afford 1 semester of being in a sorority.

i think they mean neighborhoods, not states. But this isn't necessarily true. The girls you talk to likely won't know anything about your zip code or money, but reference team and the exec board who matches and makes the final decisions probably look at it, but it won't necessarily affect if you get a bid. Don't fret
