The question is, why would you want to be a part of a group of girls who won't accept you for your size when you can be in a house that WILL?
The top houses will not view you the same as skinny girls. Thats not to say they won't take you, but you have to have A LOT more going on. Grades, recs, connections, money, a perfect face, etc.
Look at the middle tier/bottom houses. They have bigger girls. Why wouldn't you want to be in one of those when you know they'll accept you for your size?

It's so funny when a girl thinks that the houses full of girls who actually DO look like her aren't "decent."
Honey, face the facts. If you're overweight, the top houses don't want you. The only reason big girls get bids to those houses are because they have $$, connections, or it was an accident.
How about focusing on the houses that take girls like you? What makes you think you're better than them?

Honestly houses do judge on weight like most of the world. If you're thick just by genes and take care of yourself I'm sure you'll be fine but if you're actually noticeable overweight it's going to be hurtful during recruitment. I'm sure you're a beautiful person inside and a whole house could love you're personality but if you don't fit the "look" then you won't be getting a bid and usually top/middle tier houses aren't an over weight "look". Being over weight doesn't just downgrade a house but it makes them look lazy and like they don't want to take care of themselves. I'm sorry but that's what an over weight person is, unless they actually have a disorder. If you're just naturally not "stick skinny" don't worry about that and ignore this comment but if you're over weight or chuncky because of an unhealthy life style try rushing this year and if you're not happy about the house you got go to the gym, eat healthy, and lose weight (in a healthy way) and then rush again next year!
