easiest frats to get a bid from?

What are the easiest frats to get into and which ones are the most lenient when it comes to letting people pledge? Serious question.
I will be rushing this fall and want to have a good plan b in case things don't work out with any of the frats I like. Thanks

Honestly they're all pretty easy to get a bid from if you're a good fit. Fall PCs can often times be well over 40 guys. If you're the type of guy that will get a bid to a mid-top house, you will probably get a bid to a mid to top house. If you're the type of guy that wouldn't get a bid anywhere, you'll probably not get a bid anywhere.

think he was asking which frat could he join if he didn't get a bid during rush.
Like if he had KS, SAE, Pike and Sig Chi as his top picks all rush and ended up not getting in anywhere. He wants to know if like KA would go "wow this guy made it to day 3 with SAE he must be super sick, we totally need to bid him." This probably will not happen.
If he doesn't get a bid to one of the top 8-10 houses during rush, none of them will offer him a bid after rush.
SAE, KS, Pike, Sig Chi, AEPi, Sammy, Beta, KA, ZBT and Theta Chi are all of the top and mid houses, they will most likely all have "complete" pledge classes and will have no need to bid kids after rush.

There are a few fraternities that have a blanket bidding habit: AEPi, Phi Delt, Sammy, ZBT. Maybe TDX.
AEPi... 70 man house, but they give out 55 bids. That's over 3/4 of their total membership. Phi Delt... 45 man house, but they consistently hand out bids to 25-30 pledges. Sammy and ZBT... supposed to be on the rise, yet they bid almost as many pledges as they have actives. They're like sororities.
In the end it's your choice whether you want to pledge any of these houses but really all you have to do is show the slightest bit of interest and there's a good chance you'll get a bid.

Whatever Sammy and zbt are doing is working I don't know how they pulled off their last pc's

Uh yeah, the him that Sammy and ZBT are doing is handing out a massive amount of bids and hoping that a % of rushes will accept. That's how they and a couple of other houses rush, go for quantity not quality. Notice that they don't exactly have the highest quality guys. They are playing the numbers.

I agree with what you are saying but houses like AEPi and Sammy also bid indiscriminately because they are trying to make up for recruiting a step too high against the topmost fraternities and (striking out) or because they are afraid of slipping so they throw their standards out the window.
AEPi, probably feeling the island pinch and afraid of their numbers going down, they had a pc of 55 last semester with 70 actives. What kind of ratio is that? Sammy, they tried to punch upwards in the fall and failed so they compensate by taking in as many pledges as there were actives last semester.
No selectivity, no standards, weak brotherhood.

Sammy took 30 pledges in Fall and 17 in Spring, learn your facts before you bash a fraternity. @whoever

You must not be in a fraternity if you think the grade reports are even remotely accurate. Lots of fraternities don't "initiate" their members until they hit a certain GPA requirement, these are what we call holdovers. Lets say your fraternity requires a 3.0 pledge semester to get initiated and you get a 2.75, guess what, you're going to still be a "pledge" per the fraternity and school. Sometimes fraternities aren't allowed to initiate any pledges that semester, and therefore wait until that next spring or fall. Part time students aren't technically allowed in either, we had a bunch of seniors who, their last semester, weren't considered actives because they only had a couple classes in their schedules. Also, I don't think the grade reports include anyone on study abroad.
All you're looking at with these numbers is a bunch of guys with crap grades.
Do you really think:
Pike only has 162 guys? Kappa Sig has less guys than KA? ZBT found 62 worthwhile pledges to take in the spring?
It's just how the school/ fraternities register members.
I bet every single one of these houses (SAE, KS, SX, Pike, AEPI, Alpha Sig, SAMMY, BETA, KA, Theta Chi, ZBT) had over 150 actual members + pledges this past spring. Wouldn't be surprised if at least half of them were closer to 200.

Haha sorry goobers, I don't really care enough about Sammy to track their membership #s - I'm just going off of what people are saying. But it doesn't take a rocket science to know that houses like Sammy, ZBT, TDX, AEPi (dying island) etc. can't be as selective as the very best fraternities during rush and blanket bid. Sad but true, lol.
