I am currently going threw recruitment and these girls are amazing !! whether i get a bid from them or from a different chapter I think they are so sweet!! they have told us so much about how they don’t have a house but they do the same things as other sororities. These girls are so welcoming and supportive and always say “whatever chapter you end up in, everyone will support you and you’ll be so loved!” They are so excited for recruitment and it truly shows how genuine they are. Some girls that want a housed sorority are very room to them but ASA girls are never rude back!! They literally just talk about how cool that is! They told us that wanting a house does not offend them, because being unhoused isn’t for everyone and there’s nothing wrong with that. I think these girls are so nice I hope everyone sees that!! thanks for teaching me that u don’t need a house to have a home !!

ASA is an unhoused Greek option. It allows women to be able to afford to be in a sisterhood without taking out loans, and gives some freedom to live with who, and where they want. It’s not for everyone, but it is for some. They are not trying to compete with top tier houses with million dollar mansions and will never be a top tier house. Greek life is about sisterhood and empowerment. Stop acting like you have to be rich and popular to be in Greek life. It’s about finding a family away from home. Until we all stand together in support, no one is better off.

no idea who they were for so long until i worked with some. they’re rude and think they’re a good house even though no one knows who they are. thought they’d be full of girls who weren’t super cute but we’re still nice but they were weird and rude to all our coworkers. nothing like any of the other sororities

To the people saying that ASA would be better if we had a house, we can’t. It was literally a stipulation when ASA came to campus that we would remain unhorsed to offer a more affordable option for women who want to be in Greek life but can’t spend $2000 a semester. So we’re not going to be getting a house and it sucks that many people during recruitment dropped us because we were unhoused. We still have sisterhood events and date dashes and all the other things that other sororities have, we just don’t have a physical house to be at. Hopefully people will start accepting ASA as normal as any other sorority on campus.

They should try to get involved more, and be a little more social. However, they are amazing girls and are very sweet!

I enjoyed meeting these girls when we have had different philanthropies and sisterhoods!! They are always so supportive of everyone and i really hope people realize that rather than focus that they are unhoused. I was amazed when i saw how happy and supportive they were at the Beta Ace tournament and the TDX splashdown because they tried their best and have always cheered on all the other teams. we love u!! - panhellenic love always

Every chapter has too start somewhere. even the biggest chapters here have smaller pledge classes and unhoused chapters at other schools, so let's all chill and let them build before we cast them out

they are fine but bottom tier and can’t hold a conversation during recruitment so if there’s something to fix practice recruiting
