not the most traditional, but i think we can accurately say aphi and pi phi aren't in the same category anymore. kappa is the most prestigious, and still sits on top of the top tier. The mids are all interchangeable, including pi phi.

Pi phis will downvote this all they want, but this is how me and many others see it

While "we can accurately say aphi and pi phi aren't in the same category anymore," the difference between them exists but is not as huge as you make it out to be. Definitely not interchangeable with DG/ZTA/GPhi...
I would say more like this:

kappa
tridelt
theta

aphi

pi phi

dg
Zeta
gphi

kd
dz

axo
xo

Pi phi is definitely below aphi, but it is much closer to aphi than dg
