"face it-nu sucks without a great group of friends

Saw someone say this on a post further back and I'm curious what other students have to say.
What does it even mean to say that northwestern is miserable without a great group of friends?
agree/disagree/thoughts?

I think any place would be miserable without friends..

Northwestern can be super stressful and seem hopeless without a good support system and someone to do fun things with. Work hard, play hard. Can't do that without people to play with.
