spring rush
by: FreshmanI don't really know much about the 5 fraternities doing Spring Rush. I've been told the only one that's not on the verge of dying out is Lambda Chi, and that they might be worth looking into. Is this true, or are any of the others okay too?

Depends on what kind of greek experience you're looking for. Yes, Lambda is the only one of those worth considering at all, and rushing as a sophomore, your options will be extremely limited unless you already have a ton of friends in another frat. Most houses try to shy away from sophomores

Which houses shy away from sophomores? Would delt or beta for example take sophomores?

From what I gather, it's extremely difficult to get a bid many places as a sophomore without knowing people, but if you're cool and really, really fit in then it's possible. I can't really be much help with specific houses but I'd be surprised if either of the ones you named took a lot of sophomores

Yeah, there are a few other frats doing informal/invite-only spring rush, but if you're not invited to one of those, these 5 really aren't worth joining
