because people are horrible, and shallow, and will immediately suppose that ChiO girls aaren't ones that you would hang out with because they're not "sorortastic", "pretty" and "party hard". If you judge people only based off those three traits, your priorities are f"cking disgusting. A lot of people, upon knowing this, still choose to live in that world. It's really sad.

Hey confused dude.. let me be honest. Girls in all those sororities you just listed are nothing compared to some state schools. In fact, the idea that you even think they have to be 'perfect, blond or the hottest girls ever' makes your whole thing questionable. You want an honest answer? It's because chi o tends to attract girls who aren't as hot or fun as those houses you listed. Being in those houses have nothing to do with being perfect.

the top sororities, just like the top frats, have plenty of people who aren't super attractive. That's one of the best parts of Northwestern greek life, that getting into most of the places is mostly personality based. However, that does make it tough on the people who don't get bids (especially at frats) because they don't have the superficiality argument to fall back on. The cooler people always get bids, and the boring people end up in bad houses.

lol when people are rushing how do they even know who is "cool" if the kids are freshman and the people who are meeting them are sophomores, juniors, and seniors?
also never said the girls in ChiO are "as attractive" I said I'd not met many girls in it and couldn't really judge

You asked a question about rankings and why no one likes chi o. All these people gave you an answer. Yes, rankings are based on how cool/hot girls are. Chi Os are not as cool or as hot. End of story.

oh. I guess I don't know stuff about the sorority things. it seems though that most girls at NU aren't tpyical sorority girls and there are plenty of girls in kappa, tridelt, dg, aphi, and others that aren't perfect, blond or the hottest girls ever.
