spring vs. fall rush

Should I rush in the spring of my freshman year or fall of my sophomore year? I want to join a fraternity but there's only like five fraternities doing spring rush so I don't want to limit myself...

Just find a frat you like and rush them. If the frats that want to i rush aren't doing spring rush, don't rush them. If they are, go for it
