top 4 sororities???
by: 25erhow do we get into the top 4? everybody keeps saying don’t even bother taking the bid if you’re not top 4, but how then

I would say that as a member of a sorority, you really will find happiness and should accept a bid wherever you feel the most comfortable. I know it’s cliche but seriously it’s a waste of time if you rush somewhere where you are not comfortable. Plus, after formal rush this year, hopefully new PCs being of equal size will help crush the tier system dynamic. There are definitely 4 largest chapters (Theta, Aphi, KD, DG) but if you end up rushing somewhere else they all have great sisterhoods.

To “assistance”, due to the ranking system (you rank where you want to be at the end of each day), hopefully that wouldn’t happen. If it does, it’s definitely something to talk to your RC about! They are there to help you with this kind of thing :)

personally i'm shooting to get into one of the top 4 but I'm not gonna let myself be crushed if they all drop me. like everyone is gonna put those first, and there's only so many spots. honestly I'm looking forward to finding friends & a community where I feel comfortable, even if it's "bottom"
