Do fraternities participate in underage drinking?

by: adjioofeoje

I am interested in joining greek life, but do not wish to participate in the consumption of any alcohol beverages or illicit substances, as outlined by the 1984 National Minimum Drinking Age Act, [23 U.S.C. § 158], which requires that States prohibit persons under 21 years of age from purchasing or publicly possessing alcoholic beverages as a condition of receiving State highway funds.

Is it true that fraternities violate this law? If so, how are they not all in prison?

They do violate this law. They’re not in prison because shady alums have deep pockets.
