Here’s the deal: kappa, theata, tri delt, dg, and aphi most likely will not cob this quater or even before next year. If they do, it is suuuper selective and secret, so small chance you’d even find out about. Houses like KD, dz, a chi o, and maybe zeta are more likely to do a winter cob that can be a bit more open, last year they all did. Other houses it really depends on the year but they do not take that many and again, it’s selective, so if you got dropped now there’s a small chance you’d get in through COB. Bottom line: it’s not really worth dropping just because you think you can COB to a “top house”. Going through rush again as a sophomore doesn’t help chances either, so it’s best to stick out your house!! If they want you there you will def be able to find your people and your scene.

Bump on rushing as a sophomore. Both COB and sophomore rush slots are competitive so your best bet is sticking through to the end of rush.

So true!!! Sororities don’t really like taking sophomores because they are more likely to drop with the housing requirements and are not as involved.

Fall COB means you won’t live in the house as a sophomore and have to deal with the living requirements as a junior and senior which can really suck just saying... most fall vibe drop after a year or so
