sorority rush advice!

I’m going to be a freshman this year, and I’m gonna rush! I’m really nervous. I know it’s far away, but it’s hard to shop for dresses and stuff in the winter- so I wanna get outfits now. Any advice? How does dressing for rush at NY work? Do you change before, or freeze your butt off, or not wear dresses, or not wear open toed shoes? What outfits do you wear each day?

Any advice or insight appreciated!
