rushing as a sophomore

hi i am hopefully transferring to NU for next fall! i really want to rush there, but i’ve heard some houses do not take transfers or sophomores... is that true??

They do take transfers/sophomores. Houses usually don't take people who rushed freshman year and didn't match with any house. But since you are new, you will be fine

Every house takes sophomores/transfers during formal recruitment. There’s a specific quota for upperclassmen - you’re in a separate category from freshmen, so you’re only in a category with other upperclassmen and sororities HAVE to call back a certain number of those upperclassmen to each set
