question about the "ranks"
by: prospieWhat do the rankings actually mean? What would criteria for "ranking" be? Why are people on here so into them & is that reflective of greek life as a whole?
#2by: Rankings
Fraternity rankings come down to the following characteristics
Social: who throws the best parties, mixers, tailgates, bar nights
Members: who has the coolest, most sociable, popular, interesting guys
Sorority relations: who mixes and hangs out with the hottest/most popular girls
Brotherhood: which houses have the closest group of brothers
Reputation: what the rest of the Greek system thinks of them

#4by: the game of life
The rankings mean someone had fun for a few minutes anonymously typing them out for the world to see. The rankings mean greekrank has tricked people into typing-out more and more posts so greekrank's advertisers buy more ads in hopes to be seen by a large number of gullible students (and sometimes helicopter parents). Ask yourself what YOU are doing on greekrank, and why you would post or read other posts. Greek life as a whole has little to do with greekrank; it's simply opinion and nothing more.
