by: HowHow does bid week work? like what is the timeline for events?
#1 by: Basically
Bid week is 3 days long. Each day there is 2 sessions: dinner and event. The first session is a dinner (5-7pm), rushees come and eat and talk with the brothers basically like sunday night dinner. In between the sessions there is an hour break. The second session is the event (8-10pm) at the house which is like dodgeball, casino night, night etc. On the first night frats can only formally give out bids during the second session, on the other two nights they can give out bids during both sessions. Lastly when you are given your bid you have 3 options: drop it (means accept it), table it (give me time to decide), reject it (self explanatory). Good luck

^everything the guy above said is true except that length varies chapter to chapter. rush week starts Monday the 7th for everyone and all chapters have at least 3 days but some of the smaller chapters will have a 4th or even fifth day to give more time to get to know new guys who hadn’t rushed much in the Fall.
