is it worth it to rush a sorority as a soph/junior?

do all the sororities have allocated spots for upperclassmen? or is it not worth the money to go through rush? and how much do having friends in sororities help your chances?

It’s not worth joining any sorority at this school. Most upperclassmen deactivate after 2 years. Why pay over $1k extra a year to make friends when you can join a club at no additional cost.

sororities have a quota for upperclassmen so yes! upperclassmen often have more of a choice on the house they want than freshman do. having friends in a chapter always helps.

if you have a steady group of friends already and are happy with what you got going on socially, maybe don’t rush. BUT, if you’re looking to make some more friends and leadership experiences/the like, go ahead and rush!
