how can people judge all of sae just on alcohol prob
by: wtfincoming frosh who read about it and supposedly there was an allegation (nothing conclusive) which prompted a further look where, obviously they found they served alcohol... how can people here be saying people are horrible and will be hated if they rush sae. Im genuinely blown away at how quick the court of public opinion is to convict and force their point of view on others.

SAE got a raw deal. They should not have been suspended for something that was never proven.
That being said, the reason not to rush SAE is that it's on a steep decline. There are only 2 PCs left. One of those has like 12 people in it. The Seniors are mostly distancing themselves. The remainder isn't a great look. If you like the guys, go for it, but this isn't 2016 SAE. It was already on the decline before the suspension stuff came out.

from my own personal experience , SAE members were proud about how they laced their vodka at open parties to make it "lit." I was very aggressively hit on, and have seen SAE men make out with and then DRAG stumbling drunk girls out of parties. It was never about the alcohol.
It's not a joke. It's not a "raw deal" -- SAE was full of wealthy white boys who had good lawyers. But don't trust for a second they were somehow "taken advantage of." Do not join SAE. You will be hated.

True that people shouldn't join SAE now, due to practical reasons (it is fast declining and disliked). But the SAE guys didn't drag any girls out of their parties. Please don't make stuff up, even if SAE indeed is a bad organization due to their lacing.
