Some of the older guys in fraternities seem a bit intimidating at first, but most of them if not all make an effort to make you comfortable. The dynamic might be a bit different in sororities, but if needed, stick with the friends you already have in your sorority, but also talk to the older girls if you want to/have a chance. You don't need to be best friends with every single person in your sorority but want to be on speaking terms with almost all.

I said REAL friends, not associates you only say hi to and go out to eat with. I'm talking about people who you will talk to 5 years after college. Let's not pretend that Greek life here means life long friendships, because most people I know only talk to one or two of the ppl from their Greek organization.

You can't force it, if you end up being best buds with someone in the sorority it'll end up happening. You'll do fine, if you're with a group of people for 4 years you'll end up being close with a good number of them

If you're in the organization, you're probably gonna end up being friends with more than a few. You spend a ton of time together, and the older people usually make an effort to get to know you
